In 1905, Cefival began manufacturing sections in Paris. In 1941, Cefival produced its first steel extruded shapes thanks to the glass lubrication process invented by Jacques Sejournet. The plant located in Persan began its manufacturing activity in 1948, delivering to customer plants all over the world after the lubrication process patent was granted. Cefival remains the world leader in the processing of special steels, stainless steels, super alloys and titanium near-net shapes. Over the last 2 decades, Cefival has specialized in the engineering and production of extruded components for the aerospace and power generation markets.
